Destiny 2 - ENHANCEMENT CORE FARMING GUIDE! FASTEST WAY TO GET CORES

Masterwork cores are a thing of the past! They're so year 1 Destiny 2. Now, the new and improved Enhancement Cores are here for all your infusion needs! What has changed, though, outside of the naming convention?

First and foremost, there are additional ways of getting enhancement cores. You can now get them from certain spider bounties, as well as scrapper bounties. Each week, 6 of the bounties from spider will reward an enhancement core; they are the slightly more expensive ones, though, oddly enough the powerful gear bounty doesn't reward them. At the very least, that's 6 enhancement cores per week, albeit at a decent time commitment from gathering enough ghost fragments to purchase the bounties, and then completing them.

The other new method, is scrapper bounties, which are obtained when dismantling weapons and armor. Although it is tied to RNG, these scrapper bounties are usually pretty easy to get done, and do reward a nice amount of materials. The fact they give an enhancement core now is even better.

**IF YOU'RE A NEW PLAYER, SPIDER + SCRAPPER BOUNTIES WILL HELP IMMENSELY, AS YOU MAY NOT HAVE A HUGE STOCKPILE OF LEGENDARY SHARDS YET**

Perhaps just as important as this change, is the fact that buying materials from spider is MUCH faster now. Whereas before, it would take upwards of an hour to buy 500 shards worth of materials, I was able to do this in 5 minutes now. That's important, as we're looking at the fastest method.

Long story short - exchanging legendary shards for simulation seeds and buying packages from Brother Vance is still the fastest / best method. While the drop rate for masterwork gear from vendor packages seems to have been slightly adjusted, the fact you can buy seeds from Spider in 1/10 the time now makes this method even more attractive. Of course the shards are a barrier to entry, but if you have enough materials, use this method!
