We take a gentle winter walk on a bright and sunny, crisp January morning, and head out from the centre of Wellesbourne village, through the lane near Chedham's Yard, and strike out across Oak Tree Field and follow the River Dene for a small section of its course to the outskirts of Wellesbourne and back.

Although Chedham's Yard was shut at the time of filming, we take a quick peak over the fence to see what is has to offer. We take in local landmarks and places of interest and I point out other routes that you may take to increase your enjoyment of this beautiful part of Warwickshire.

Wellesbourne is a large visit in the heart of rural Warwickshire and is about 4 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon and about 1.5 miles from the picturesque village of Charlecote, which boasts Charlecote Park as its main attraction.
