Component Removal Machine (CRM) is used for removal of electronic components from scrap Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Scrap PCBs are placed into the heating drum of the machine where they get heated up. Upon heating components fall off from the board and are collected into a tray below the machine. Melted solder is also collected in a separate tray. Boards free from solder and components are left behind in the drum. Separated components and bare boards can be further recycled for extraction of copper and other metals.
