In this video, we are competing on Eagle Mountain Lake and Lake Worth in Fort Worth, Texas for day 1 of the 2025 Team Trail Outdoors Kings of Cowtown Championship tournament! With a history of rough finishes in this event, and having not practiced for the event at all, we had no idea what to expect or what kind of patterns we would end up finding. The Kings of Cowtown tournament is arguably the toughest tournament in the state of Texas each year, a grueling 2 day event fished on 3 different lakes during one of the hottest and toughest times of the year to fish. Having fished the event 3 times prior to this and never finishing very well, we were hopeful that this would finally be the year we could put the puzzle pieces together and make a run at a win. Stick around throughout the entire video to see how we do on day 1 of the tournament, and tune in next week to see the footage from day 2 and find out where we end up in the final standings!
