Several speakers present Grand Rounds talks as part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine's Medical Education Day.

- Internal medicine residents Timothy Rowe, MD, and Katherine Fell, MD, present “Resident-Directed Curriculum for Bedside Ultrasonography.”

- Madelyn Alvarez, MD, presents “Call of Duty: Medical Edition.” Dr. Alvarez is women's health medical director at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital and director, VA Advanced Fellowship of Women's Health National Coordinating Center.

- Miguel Leal, MD, presents "Empathy Training: A New Competency?” Dr. Leal is an assistant professor (CHS), in the Department of Medicine's Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.

University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers. Unless otherwise indicated, Grand Rounds occurs in the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital auditorium, Room A1028, Madison, Wisconsin. All faculty and staff are invited and encouraged to attend.
