Welcome back to the channel on today’s video we got some brand-new Wera products to check out! I picked these up from LHP Supplies in London and I thought I would show them to you today and also see if there are any good for us plumbers

The first tool, I’m gonna check out is the modular tool check, this is in theory a glorified bit holder. I’ve not purchased a tool check before, but I know a lot of people like him as they hold a lot of bits in a small compact design which keeps everything nicely together. The main difference in this one is that you can actually swap and change each section which is where the modular name comes into it.

The second tour we’re gonna is an open ended spanner set with a ratchet now this is a limited edition with a which looks amazing in person. The set ranges from 8 mm to 19 mm spanners have the typical ratchet in sound and noise that Wera has and it is top class super smooth super satisfying and a great fidget spinner.

A unique feature about these open-ended Spanish is the wrench and has a insert so when you insert a nut down into it it doesn’t go all the way through so this can be very handy, especially if you’re a mechanic and you’re dropping your nuts into places where you don’t wanna lose them or even just getting more purchase on the nut as it keeps it semi in place.

As a plumber, I normally use a 16mm for radiator tales this does make him into the radiator superfast but will only work if they’re the hex type but you can still do up the square ones using the other end. Other sizes I would use is probably 15 to 17 as these are mainly used in tap cartridges. Last thing you wanna do when you’re swapping out tap parts is round off the brass so having a fixed size spanner is always a better option than an adjustable. I’m pretty sure an 8 mm fits drain off valves so if you want a unique spanner for that then it’s pretty good.

The third tool we’re gonna look at is the adjustable joker wrench set and these are actually double ended so you got a head on either side of the wrench and have sizes from XS to small and also medium to large.
I really wish as a plumber that we could have a XL to double XL version they might not have thought about this as it could be quite big but if they made the handle a nice decent size then I think it could be a viable option for us plumbers as they will do your 15 mm compression nuts and also 22 mm

The final two I’m gonna look at is the quarter inch cyclops wrench now I really like this item as not only can you use it for your sockets but the cyclops unique feature is that you can turn the head and adjust it up to 90° which makes it super super useful and what I’m gonna use it for is to do up screws on toilets so inside toilet systems where you need to get access I’m gonna be using it for that and also the pan fixing screws as nine times out of 10 the ceramic is in the way. I’ve purchased an additional ad adapter so I can now use any bits on it and I think that brings this to to its next level.

So that’s all the new tools out from Wera hopefully this has been a decent enough review as you know I’m a real big fan of Wera so checking out these tools was really enjoyable and hopefully I can get a few of them into my main tool bag.
