While more than 40% of accidents happen at intersections, a staggering 88% of crashes involving autonomous vehicles occurred at traffic intersections* - so digitizing the infrastructure is key to large-scale deployment of autonomous vehicles.

The NoTraffic IoT platform leverages computer vision with cloud computing to detect, categorize, analyze, and assess traffic flow at the grid level, including the probability of dangerous behaviors like red-light runners (RLR) in real time. Instead of relying exclusively on vehicle sensors, connected and autonomous vehicles should also be ‘listening’ to the infrastructure to better understand the dynamic environment. NoTraffic Platform can mitigate these risks by communicating with the connected vehicle or by changing the traffic signal phase (delaying an opposing green) to avoid a collision.
