Camping in the Redwoods out of a Subaru Crosstrek

The Redwoods was always one of our top places to visit and we finally were able to make it happen! We spent 4 amazing days camping and sleeping in our little 2020 Subaru Crosstrek at Elk Prairie Campground.

Funny story....we forgot to pack our sleeping bags and realized the first night after setting everything up in the car. It was about 25 degrees that night but thank goodness we had a heated blanket! The next day we drive into the city and bought zero degree sleeping bags, which kept us so warm & cozy for the rest of the trip.
