The Five Du-Tones-Shake A Tail Feather (audio only)

Taken from the very rough 45 pictured. "Shake A Tail Feather" is best known by Ray Charles with The Blues Brothers in the Blues Brothers movie of 1980, but the original here can't be beat! It was the third and most successful single that The Five Du-Tones recorded for George Leaner's One-derful! label. It was big enough to get a Canadian release on the Quality label (licensed from One-derful! USA of course!).

Whoever engineered this back in 1963 made a bad mistake. Cued the tape to the first note and didn't back it up a slight, so the beginning of the record sounds REALLY WONKY; you hear the tape 'wow' up to speed at the very start! I corrected this issue with a curved digital speed adjustment.
