Stators are a central component of electric motors in e-mobility and are manufactured using hairpin technology. Copper hairpin wires are used, which are typically coated with PAI, PI or PEEK.

The thickness of this insulation coating is a decisive quality feature:
If the coating is too thin, there is a risk of insufficient insulation and potential short circuits.
If the coating is too thick, there may be problems with handling in the subsequent production steps such as bending or inserting the wires.
