Dan Reynolds: Lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and founding member (since the band's establishment in 2008).

Wayne Sermon: Guitarist, backing vocalist. Joined in 2009 and participated in early EP recordings. Graduate of Berklee College of Music

Ben McKee: Bassist, backing vocalist. Replaced original bassist Dave Lemke in 2009. Also a Berklee alumnus

2008: Imagine Dragons officially formed in Las Vegas, USA.

2012: Released their debut studio album, Night Visions. The album's cumulative global sales reached 4 million copies.

2013: Won the Favorite Alternative Rock Artist award at the 41st American Music Awards.

2014: The band's song "Radioactive" set a record by charting for 87 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100. Won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance for the song at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. The same year, they won five awards at the 21st Billboard Music Awards, including Top Duo/Group and Top Rock Artist.

2015: Released their second studio album, Smoke + Mirrors, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Also held the global "Smoke + Mirrors" world tour.

2017: Released their third studio album, Evolve, setting the record for the highest weekly sales of a rock album in the US that year. The album won the Top Rock Album award at the 25th Billboard Music Awards and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 60th Grammy Awards. The same year, their song "Believer" won the Choice Rock Song award at the 19th Teen Choice Awards.

2018: Released their fourth studio album, Origins. Won the Choice Rock Artist award at the 20th Teen Choice Awards. Also released the single "Next To Me".

2019: Performed during the halftime show of the College Football Playoff National Championship. Announced a temporary hiatus from music later that year.

2021: The band announced their official return to music.

2022: Released Mercury – Acts 1 & 2, a compilation album featuring their fifth and sixth studio albums
