Iran Shahed 285 attack helicopter was researched and built by Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company (HESA). It is being produced in two versions, which is a land based variant and a naval one. This machine is built on the basis of Bell Model 206A and looks a lot like Zafar 300.
The Iran Shahed 285 attack helicopter is the lightest dedicated attack helicopter in the world. It has an empty weight of 820 kg, and a maximum take-off weight of 1.45 tons.
