Shiraz Famous Square - چرا فلکه گاز شیراز را ساختند؟؟

فلکه گاز یکی از میدان های قدیمی شیراز که به مناسبت ورود گاز به شهر شیراز در حدود سال 1345 ساخته شده است. اسم این میدان بعد از انقلاب به آزادی تغییر کرد ولی همان فلکه گاز گفته میشود. بعد از دیدن این میدان یه سر به بلوار زیبای ارم زدیم و بعد از اون هم رفتیم پشت ارگ کریمخان زند یه کافه و رستوران سنتی که مربوط به خانواده چهره نگار از اولین عکاسان شیرازی بوده. کافه دنج و باحالی بود پر از عکسای قدیمی شیراز که همشون توسط خانواده چهره نگار گرفته شده. توی سفر به شیرازپیشنهاد میکنم حتما یه سر هم به اینجا بزنید چون به مکان های تاریخی مثل ارگ کریمخان زند، بازار وکیل، موزه پارس، حمام و مسجد وکیل خیلی نزدیک هست.

Gaz Sqaure (Gas Square or Felke Gaz) is one of the oldest squares in Shiraz, which was built in celebration of new gas pipe systems installed in Shiraz city in 1960s. After the Revolution in 1979, the name was changed to Azadi Square (Freedom Square) but people still call it Gaz Square (Felke Gaz). After visiting this square, we went to the beautiful Eram Boulevard and then we went behind the Arg of Karim Khan (Karim Khan Citadel, a historical relic in Shiraz) to a and old traditional cafe-restaurant, the place was owned by the first photographers of Shiraz, Chehrenegar family. It was a cozy and cool cafe, with many old photos of Shiraz hanging on the walls, all taken by members of Chehrenegar family. If you travel to Shiraz, I suggest visiting this place as well, because it’s very close to historical places like the Arg of Karim Khan Zand, Pars Museum, Vakil Historical Bath and Vakil Mosque.
