Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Pisces. 18 September, 2024 (AEST)
We begin the eclipse season with a powerful and emotionally charged Super Moon in Pisces.
The Pisces influence can make it difficult to clarify situations or mark out boundaries or limits, to map out or portray something and things can seem quite murky at this time. The transcendental healing energies of the Pisces Moon is also sextile to Uranus and Pluto, calling us to surrender to the transformational pull of Pluto on the Uranian global scale where we all come together to heal. After what we have endured over the last four years there is a deep need for this healing to take place now.
Eclipses are notorious for eliminating things out of our life then replacing them with something else but that’s their nature, so don’t try to fight it, let yourself go with the flow and have trust and faith in the process. Let the cards fall where they may because there are other things coming our way. Pisces also asks us to surrender to the Divine plan playing out in our lives rather than trying to control situations from our mere earthly perspective. Let go and let God is quite the apt phrase to use here. In ancient astrology eclipses were also seen as portals opening into past lives, especially lunar eclipses, because it was thought the veils were especially thin during this time for past life memories to become more easily accessible.
During this lunar cycle we also see the Sun move into Libra heightening our desire for balance and harmony, with a desire to please others. We may also find ourselves brooding over decisions which we find difficult to make.
We also have Mercury taking up an oppositional aspect to Neptune which can create inspired thinking with communications having a touch of magic to uplift others. On the down side we may also lose details or get lost in information, become confused or become absent minded. We could also have to deal with lies.
At the end of September we have the Sun in Libra conjunct Mercury in the Cazimi aspect, magnifying clarity and focusing our communications so they become very precise.
