MuseScore 4.2: A milestone update for guitarists, plus much more

MuseScore 4.2 has arrived! This update brings a huge raft of updates for compositions with guitar parts — including engraving and playback support for bends, plus a new system for alternative tunings. 4.2 also features significant updates to how you sync between a main score and instrument parts, core engraving and playback improvements, bug fixes and much more.

HOW DO I GET MUSESCORE 4.2?

If you already use MuseScore 4 or 4.1, you will receive a notification to update to 4.2 next time you launch the app. Or it will download automatically if you have the Muse Hub. If you're new to MuseScore 4, you can download the latest version free from musescore.org or via the Muse Hub.
