The Colosseum, Rome, by Helene Brennan

Welcome to my slide show of the Colosseum, Rome, which also includes a short video. Most of the images are of the inside of the Colosseum. It was a rather wet day and I didn't get much chance to capture more than a few from the outside. While inside there was a mixture of weather, a bit like being back home in Ireland! You can see some sunlit images and some with lots of people sporting colourful plastic ponchos and umbrellas. The guys who were selling the umbrellas and ponchos must have done rather well that day - the same guys who I saw selling sunhats and sunglasses as I passed by in a bus the following day.

As usual, I recommend viewing on a large screen TV if possible. Thanks for your visit. Enjoy!
