What smallsword should I buy if I want an Italian sword for HEMA or Historical Fencing?

Smallsword fencing is the ancestor of the modern olympic Epee which is the child of the classic duelling sword of the 19th cent.
HEMA or Historical fencing follows the use of the smallsword according to almost lost books, but what weapon to use? You could use a foil, because it was also the training tool for the old smallsword. But modern people wants to use something closer to original weapons and there are some makers out ther fullfilling that wish.
In this video we will have a look at a brass Italian smallsword with a very clever design, because it feels so smooth in your hand without being a pistol grip.
