Trayvon Martin: Beyonce and Jay Z attend New York rally in protest against George Zimmerman

Beyonce and her husband Jay Z have attended a rally for Trayvon Martin, proing against the acquittal of the man who shot and killed the unarmed teen.

They joined thousands of people and civil rights leaders who staged pros in more than 100 US cities after George Zimmerman was cleared of murder last week.

Travyon Martin was killed on his way home in Florida in February 2012 after a scuffle with Zimmerman who then shot the teen.

A jury agreed that the neighbourhood watch volunteer killed the youngster in self-defence. Report by Sarah Kerr.
