WILD stands for wake induced lucid dreaming, and it's a technique that allows you to enter dreams directly without losing consciousness. Lucid dreams achieved by using WILD are known to be extremely vivid and lifelike because you're at the highest level of awareness during the dream.

This is a more advanced lucid dreaming technique, and if you're a beginner I recommend starting off with something easier. However that doesn't mean you can't give it a try... you never know, it could work for you on the very first night. But if you're not getting results, don't be too hard on yourself because it is a difficult technique.
