Why do my zoom video chats look blurry ???

During these unprecedented times, everyone is having to conduct meetings virtually using such tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet, and a variety of other tools. While working on a YouTube video where I used my webcam for a live stream I noticed that the video looked totally blurry and choppy no matter what camera I used. I played around with some settings on my computer and discovered one trick that drastically improved the video and audio quality from my webcam.
