Communitas Supportive Care Society has been providing care to persons living with disabilities in British Columbia for 50 years. In 2024, our Communitas50 campaign is excited to commemorate of 50th anniversary, celebrate the amazing work being done, and look forward to the future.

For nearly four decades, Communitas' social enterprises and employment services have provided skill development, work experience, and helped people with diverse abilities find meaningful employment. This film explores the theme of contribution, focusing on the importance and positive impact of inclusive workplaces for all involved. Work is more than financial independence, it impacts mental health, creates relationships, contributes to a sense of purpose and affords people the chance to give back.
