Brain Tanning Deer Hides

I flew out to Georgia to take a brain tanning class from Melony of Mel of The Mountains. I have attempted to tan many hides over the years but could never get it quite right. Instead of continuing to fight through the learning curve I decided to take my own advice and go see someone that was better at it than I! After 3 long hard days or learning I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Watch this video to hear about some tips and tricks with brain tanning deer hides.
