Описание к видео Road Rash 32-Bit Review : 3DO, Playstation, Saturn & PC Versions!

I take a look at Road Rash 32-Bit, the next generation sequel that started on the 3DO Interactive Multi Player. It also came out on the Playstation, Saturn and PC, and I give a few opinions on all of them.

Episode Notes:

1. All captures from real hardware.

2. There is a Japanese version of the 3DO FZ-1 that has a native 240P switch on the back. It helps clean up the image for the S-Video output.

3. The 3DO original is still one of my favorite games of all time. While other versions improved on some things, it's still a blast to play.

4. The FMV of the available ports are all similar. The PS1 does full screen while the Saturn opts for a smaller window. They are have heavy compression artifacts.

5. There is a 2 player mode in Road Rash. Turning it on in the options allows you and a friend to take turns racing. It keeps track of your money, qualifications, and level as you trade off.

6. The PC version is easy to find online. It's considered abandonware.

7. The simple control scheme means it works great on pretty much any controller.

8. The L and R triggers allow you to lean the bike into turns. It helps negotiate the harder areas. I forgot to mention that in the video.
