Celebrating 50 Years of Flutemaking

To celebrate my 50th Year of flutemaking, I have created many flute sets to help our 266 special needs kids in Nicaragua. My career started in Mexico September 1970 when I gave my best flute to a beggar who had no legs. 2 days later I went south and a police officer who knew I was looking for bamboo mentioned there was a poor lady who needed money to buy her sick kids medicine. I gave her money for the meds and she let me cut a bundle of her dry canes. That night Erik the Flutemaker was born. 50 years later, we are using this big sale as a fundraiser to help special needs kids. I am so glad this is still in my heart after so long.
