Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991) is a slapstick comedy directed by David Zucker, starring Leslie Nielsen as the bumbling Lieutenant Frank Drebin of Police Squad. In this sequel, Drebin is tasked with protecting Dr. Albert S. Meinheimer, a prominent scientist whose renewable energy plans threaten the profits of oil, coal, and nuclear industries.
