The Disasterpiece Experience

Описание к видео The Disasterpiece Experience

It took three sittings, but my Disasterpiece experience is complete. I was not ready for this. There is no way to be ready for this. Hey, they can't all be Snuff, right?
Part 3 of 3 of my latest Slipknot reactions. And oh my goodness. Thanks, I think, to those who recommended this one: Luke Doran, Charles Weaving & David Biddle.
More Slipknot reactions to come, starting with Solway Firth BUT first I'm doing a few other bands. I need a little break. :)

For anyone curious, here's the current ranking of the songs I know well enough to rank:
1) (forever and always) SNUFF
Snuff is literal perfection.
2) Nero Forte!
3) Vermillion Pt. 2
4) Devil in I
5) Before I Forget
6) Unsainted
7) Orphan
8) Dead Memories
9) Duality
10) Sulfur
11) Killpop
12) Psychosocial
48) Disasterpiece hehe!
This list changes with each video. I can't quite nail it down, aside from the top 4. Those are solid.

REACTION VIDEOS:
I'm obsessed with music, and I've finally convinced myself to try some reaction videos to hear some new songs. You won't be seeing over the top reactions here, so if that's your jam, you'll be bored. Instead, I'm giving an honest, grounded reaction in real time to a song I've never heard before. A heads-up, I stop the video frequently, while I try to make sense of what I'm hearing, though usually just end up embarrassing myself. If you know of any songs I should be listening to, please let me know!

WRITING VIDEOS:
In 2019, I started a video diary of my writing journey, mostly the querying and revision process of my first novel, a romantic comedy. So over a cup of coffee after teaching in the mornings (with VIPKID), I'd talk things out. I really just needed a place to vent. I'm sure writers can relate. The highs, the many lows, the overthinking every little thing, the hope, the hopelessness, the self-doubt, the paranoia, and everything in between. Hidden in my hours of footage are a few thoughts about writing and all it entails that I wanted to share, so other writers can see it's not just you! And more importantly, to add some balance to the writing content on YouTube; it's not all contracts and book deals.
In full transparency, this is a writer's brain. Or at least, my writer's brain.
All videos in breathtakingly low resolution! I never meant to share these anywhere, so the quality wasn't important. Just a built-in webcam plus poor lighting. Sorry.
