A mother rocking her child to sleep while the Thirty Years’ War rages outside - a topic that unfortunately remains completely relevant in 2023. This scene serves as a poignant reminder that protecting innocent lives and upholding peace are fundamental duties of governments and societies.

I‘m extremely grateful to have been able to speak with Ercole Nisini himself. His music offers a contemporary and invigorating perspective on the traditional lullaby. It was a unique opportunity for me to gain insights into his thoughts and intentions. It enabled me to perceive his music through a renewed lens and delve deeper into my interpretation.
