What Are Gruv Gear Fretwraps for?

Are fretwraps only a great larning tool? In my video I show you 3 benefits of using a Gruv Gear Fretwrap and why guitarists use them.
The most important reason for using a fretwrap in my opinion is for muting the unwanted overtones while practicing unplugged. When I learned playing alternate picking I used it for 900 hours and then I added palm muting to my technique. It was great because the fretwrap allowed me to concentrate on the movement of the right hand step by step. Gruv Gear fretwraps are expensive but I like them. It would be great if Gruv Gear will release more different colours :)
