Dates Paste Recipe (Natural Sweetener for Sugar-Free Mithai)

🧺 Ingredients:

Dates (khajoor) – 1 cup (about 200 g)(seeds nikal dena h)

Warm water – ½ cup (or as needed)

(Optional – for longer storage)


👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Preparation:

Dates ko ache se wash kar lo.

Agar dates thode dry hain to unhe chhoti pieces me cut kar lo taaki blend karna easy ho.

Soft dates le aur seeds ko nikal de



2. Soaking:

Ek bowl me ½ cup warm water daalo.

Usme dates daal kar 30 minute soak hone do.

Soaking se dates soft aur mashable ho jate hain.



3. Blending:

Soaked dates ( 1tab- pani ke sath hi) mixer jar me daal do.

Smooth aur thick paste banne tak blend karo.

Agar jar jam ho jaye to thoda aur warm water add kar sakte ho (1–2 tbsp).



4. Optional Step (longer shelf life ke liye):

Ek pan me ½ tsp ghee garam karo.

Dates paste daal kar 2–3 minute tak stir karo low flame par.

Ye step uska shelf life aur flavour dono badhata hai.



5. Cool & Store:

Paste ko completely thanda hone do.

Airtight glass jar me store karo.

Fridge me 15–20 din tak safe rehta hai.

Freezer me store karoge to 2 mahine tak bhi chal jata hai.

🍬 Tips & Uses:

Is paste ko sugar ki jagah use karo in sweets:

Ladoo, Barfi, Rolls, Kheer, Halwa etc.


1 cup sugar ke badle approx ¾ cup dates paste use hota hai (taste ke hisaab se).

Natural fiber-rich aur iron se bhara hua hota hai.
