Didn't get a lot of time to work on things today, I had a few teleconferences that split up the day, also feeling pretty terrible, hopefully this is the peak of whatever I have.

Started by cleaning up around the site, the collection of junk and rocks had created a trip hazard, it is a rough and sloping site which is less than ideal in the best of cases, but with my freshly healing broken ankle I can't afford to re-injure it. Moved all the concrete form work timber and also removed the batter boards which are now mostly just getting in the way. This was a lot easier than I expected, the star post puller made short work of extracting the driven 2x4 posts.

I finished up the panel edge blocking and carefully measured things ready for subfloor, added some redundant blocking where things were a bit close and there was a chance of missing the joist or blocking if I wasn't careful. Checked for any shiners and missed nails on every timber.

Once the light faded I practiced with the hot-knife slicing up a sheet of insulation foam. Tomorrow I'll take the saw horses outside with an extension cord and cut the insulation close to its install location. This should make it easier to mark and field-fit the odd pieces. I have spray foam to seal the edges of any medium sized misfitting. The foam has a vapour barrier as part of its radiant layer and is closed-cell anyway so I shouldn't need an additional vapour barrier and any large spills being able to drain out from below the subfloor is probably a good thing. 90% of building is moisture management.
