I can still remember my time at technical college more than forty years ago.
Every morning for the first two weeks, from 8.30 am to 9am we had a test on Ohm’s law and resistor circuits. I’m sure it was so that Malcolm, the tutor, could sneak off for an extra cup of tea. But one thing is certain, we all learnt the methods and those skills have stayed with me for life. The ability to use Ohm’s Law and manipulate resistances is such a very important skill.

Many technical, and especially electronic exams will include questions on series and parallel circuits. If you know how to solve them, then you can be pretty sure of picking up some easy marks for little effort.

The video was promised for a few months ago but, my cancer treatment got in the way so here we are now, playing catchup. I hope you enjoy it, and do have a go at the questions towards the end – which, of course, include the answers.
