On October 20, 2023 we took on this bucket list hike! This activity is one that the parks service recommends you don't do unless you are extremely prepared. We spent over 4 months preparing for this hike. We researched food to eat and equipment to purchase to make this hike successful. It is an absolutely beautiful hike and definitely once in a lifetime! This hike is also no joke! You should take the warnings seriously and understand that this hike could test your physical, mental and emotional limits. But hey, the things in life with the greatest rewards are always the hardest to attain.
