We bought a new house that had a well. We knew it had iron/rust in the water because all the toilets, tubs, showers were stained red from the water. But we also found out that we had 20ppb of Arsenic in the water. Only a Media Filter or Reverse Osmosis filter will get rid of the arsenic. But this filter system that i installed filtered all of the rusty water that came into the house first.
I'm super happy with how it turned out. Our water is much cleaner and the red stains have disappeared from our toilets & tubs. Also know it's easier on our RO filter system that we filter out all the rust before it gets to the smaller filters.
