Mutton and Beans Curry or Binis ki Phalli Gosht from Maimoona Yasmeen’s Recipes

Ingredients:

Boneless mutton: 100 grams
Beans: 250 grams
Onion: 50 grams
Salt: ½ teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Oil: 1 ½ tablespoon
Chopped coriander: 1 tablespoon
Whole green chillies: 2

Procedure:

1. Add mutton to a pressure cooker, add sliced onion, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, oil and 1/4th cup water.

2. Mix well and close the lid.

3. Cook on medium flame till 2 to 3 whistles or till the mutton gets semi tender.

4. Stir fry till the oil separates and till the water dries up completely.

5. Add chopped and washed beans and stir fry for about 2 minutes.

6. Add 1/2 a cup of water and close the lid, do not pressure cook.

7. Cook on medium flame till the beans get tender and the water is almost dried.

8. Add chopped coriander and whole green chillies.

9. Close the lid and cook on low flame for 2 minutes or till the water dries up completely.

Mutton Beans curry is ready. Serve with roti/phulka/chapati or plain rice and dal.
