Full Hardcore Nuzlocke Rule Set:
1. I must catch the first ground-type I find in each route or area.
2. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or perma-boxed.
3. I must nickname all of my Pokémon.
4. No over-leveling past the next Gym Leader's (or Elite 4) ace.
5. No items in battle (held items okay).
6. Battle mode must be put on set at all times.

Clauses:
1. Species clause: If the first Pokémon I find on a new route or area is from the same evolutionary line as a Pokémon I've already caught, I can re-roll the encounter until I find a Pokémon from an evolutionary line that I haven't already caught.
2. Shiny clause: If I find a Shiny Pokémon, regardless of whether or not it is my first encounter in the route or area, I am allowed to catch it due to how incredibly rare it is to find a Shiny in the first place.
3. Legendary/mythical ban: All legendaries and mythicals are banned.
