I'm not saying you can't grow a little bit but you'll be dysfunctional Now the Bible makes it pretty clear If you give a man or a woman a Bible and just put them on a desert island maybe they receive Jesus Christ Well here's the Bible Figure it out They're going to come out a heretic every time And so it's our job the Bible says it's our job to teach his word to make sure that the little ones grow up and they're healthy right Believe Belong And then become It's time for us the key for all this whole thing is let's look at some of these scriptures Old things in our life have to pass away and all things become new This is the part about Christianity that freaks people out But there's got to be change Old things have got to pass away and all things become new This is how we grow This is how we mature I've known people that get saved and never touch alcohol again I've watched other men women get saved and they struggle with drinking too much alcohol all the time I've seen it But they want to become like Christ This is where we as a church hang with them
