Leo's Story | Camp Quality

Leo was a normal, happy, six-month-old baby reaching all his milestones when he was diagnosed with stage 4 hepatoblastoma. It was Christmas Eve in 2021 when an ultrasound showed a tumour had completely infiltrated Leo’s little liver and spread to his lungs.

Our programs have the power to change the cancer story by making memories not centred on sickness, that families will cherish forever.

These positive memories help rebuild lives shaken by cancer, with optimism, strength and resilience that lasts.

Experiences of connection, fun and laughter are the building blocks of positivity for life, leaving families fundamentally better off.

Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.
Our services and programs help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. We are there for kids (0-15 years) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling or parent, every step of the way.
Our programs provide hospital support, age-appropriate education, camps, fun days and family retreats that provide families with a break from cancer to reconnect and build a supportive community.
Our services include digital resources and counselling, accessible whenever and wherever they are needed. We’re proud to have improved the quality of life for kids impacted by cancer, and their families for 40 years.
