Join us for all new summer-STEAM fun!

This month, we will learn all about the art & science of butterflies. In this video, Miss Susan shows us how to make a variety of butterfly crafts, including an oval tissue paper caterpillar, 3D folded paper caterpillar, folded paper butterflies, 3D hearts & craft sticks butterfly, coffee filter butterfly, 3D butterfly life cycle

For these crafts, you will need the following supplies:
Oval Tissue Paper Caterpillar: red tissue paper, 2-3 shades of green tissue paper, white construction paper, glue, water, paintbrush, pencil, scissors, writing utensil
3D Folded Paper Caterpillar: green construction paper, circle shape, 2 googly eyes, scissors, writing utensil, glue/glue dots
Folded Paper Butterfly: cardstock, scissors, bright paint, chenille sticks or bendable straws
3D Hearts & Craft Sticks Butterfly: colorful construction paper, 2 craft sticks, 2 googly eyes, scissors, pencil, glue/glue dots, chenille stick
Coffee Filter Butterfly: coffee filters, paper plates, dot painters, clothes pins, water
3D Butterfly Life Cycle: paper plate, writing utensil, green foam, tiny pasta shells/beans/poms, twigs/yarn, chenille sticks/rotini pasta, tissue paper/large pasta shells, farfalle pasta, scissors, glue/glue dots
