Moment massive tree falls on car during tornado

A powerful tornado tore through Johnston, Rhode Island, on Friday morning (August 18), sending strong winds that toppled trees and damaged homes.

A garden camera captured the moment when a tree snapped and fell on a parked vehicle outside a property during the severe weather. Eyewitness Michala Hilario said she received a tornado alert and saw debris flying past her house. She caught the scene of her car being crushed by the tree on CCTV, while taking shelter in her basement.
