"The maggot's" aka my brother Ben's goal race is finally here - the British National Mountain Bike XCO Championship, and it was an absolutely brutal race.

The course at Tong did not disappoint, with super technical A lines, plus the horrific British weather made it an absolute mud bath.

Ben gave it everything he had on the day and managed to come away with his best result this season; a well earned spot on the British National championship XCO podium for the maggot.
