If you still remember the 18.000 Btu/h Panasonic Ionizer coil unit as shown in this video:    • 2 Old 18.000 Btu/h Coil/Indoor Units: Pana...  , well, yes. That’s the same unit and now it’s mine! I bought it from ‪@yosafattheairconditionerex6151‬ a year ago since he doesn't need it anymore. When he plans to sell it to individuals (such as AC technicians, scrapyards, or his relatives), I asked him whether I could buy it from him, since this is also one of my childhood ACs that holds a special memory for me. I used to see a lot of those (especially the National version, the Deluxe C_BKN series) in public places and could feel the luxury vibes from it thanks to its luxurious design. I didn't put my eyes on the National version especially the predecessor (C_BKN) of this Ionizer since I find that model is less interesting compared to this Super Ionizer model which is the successor. The 18.000 Btu/h version of the Ionizer model is only available in the Panasonic version, making its popularity smaller compared to the C18BKN, rare enough! But I can admit that this unit used to be everyone's daily AC back then like the Daikin FTC series, Panasonic YN series, and Gree MOO5 series nowadays.

As for the condition itself, the original evaporator is still present on the unit and it's still functioning very well! All of the indicator lights still working fine and so as the horizontal air swing and the Ionizer purifying system. Lastly, it still comes with the original remote (well actually, it's not the original remote that comes with it. It's a remote that Yosafat took from another unit and it's not a type that is intended for this particular model, but all of the functions are working on this unit!). The only downside with it other than it has been yellowed quite badly, is the vertical air swing has ever broken on a part that attached to the air swing motor before. But that's not a big problem for me because this model (and the predecessor too) has a downside on the vertical air swing that is always damaged after being used for quite a while. And I've fixed that issue on my unit by cannibalizing the part that is attached to the air swing motor. Lastly, the beep sound is recently broke.

To any of you asking where the original condensing unit for it, well, it's not available anymore since the first time Yosafat bought it secondhanded around 4 years ago. But I do have a plan to find the original CU-C18CKH condensing unit for it, so stay tuned!
