आदरणीय प्रधानाचार्य जी, सम्मानित अध्यापकगण और मेरे प्यारे साथियों,

आज हम अपने प्यारे देश भारत की 79वीं स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाने के लिए एकत्रित हुए हैं, वह स्वर्णिम दिवस जब अंग्रेजों के लगभग दो सौ वर्षों के शासन के बाद हमें स्वतंत्रता मिली।

इस स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई में महात्मा गाँधी ने अहिंसा और सत्याग्रह के माध्यम से अनुकरणीय नेतृत्व दिया। चम्पारन सत्याग्रह (1917), दाँव चलाकर किसानों की रक्षा, नमक सत्याग्रह (1930), ध्वज सत्याग्रह और 1942 में ‘क़्विट इंडिया’ जैसे आंदोलनों ने जनता को संगठित किया। नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस, भगत सिंह, चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद, सरदार पटेल जैसे वीरों ने अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर किया। 15 अगस्त 1947 की मध्यरात्रि को जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने अपना ऐतिहासिक भाषण दिया—समानता, न्याय, स्वतंत्रता और समृद्धि की दृष्टि से राष्ट्र की नींव रखी गई।

स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद भारत ने लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों को संजोया और विश्व का सबसे बड़ा लोकतंत्र बना। आज हम विश्व की चौथी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था हैं, ISRO की चंद्रयान‑3 सफल लैंडिंग से चंद्र दक्षिण ध्रुव पर लैंड करने वाला पहला देश भी भारत बना। पीएम गति शक्ति जैसे mega‑project, डिजिटल इंडिया, आयुष्मान भारत, AIIMS विस्तार, शिक्षा‑स्वास्थ्य में सुधार, लखपति दीदी योजनाएँ आदि ने देश की आधारशिला मजबूत की है ।

हम छात्र होने के नाते इस प्रगति को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए आगे आएँ— अच्छी पढ़ाई, राष्ट्र‑सेवा, समाज‑निर्माण का संकल्प लें। हमें मिलकर एक समृद्ध, शिक्षित, स्वच्छ और विकसित भारत का निर्माण करना है, जिसका हम सब भविष्य के पूत-पुत्र होंगे।
