Instead of rigid commands, drivers can casually ask for things like nearby burrito spots with reviews, traffic updates, or even adjust climate settings by simply saying "Hey, Mercedes." The system can even answer random questions—like the cost of a Wall Street Journal subscription or which Mercedes-Benz model is the greatest of all time. (It picked the 300 SL Gullwing.)

This is part of Mercedes’ new MB.OS platform, which supports improved over-the-air updates and personalized learning over time. For folks who often rely on their phones for quick errands or roadside help, this tech could make stopping to tinker with your phone a thing of the past.

The 2026 Mercedes CLA-Class, featuring this AI integration, is expected to hit the U.S. market next year. Pricing for the CLA 250+ has not been disclosed yet.
