After seizing 194,775 BTC during the infamous PlusToken scam, the Chinese government owns more Bitcoin than MicroStrategy.

About $3.9 billion is the total market value of the BTC held by the Chinese Government, which is 1% of the total Bitcoin holdings.

The CEO of CryptoQuant, Ki Young Ju, shared a fact on Wednesday in a Twitter post that the Chinese government owns more Bitcoin than Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy making it one of the biggest Bitcoin whales in the world.

Ki Young Ju Co-founder and CEO of cryptoQuant said that.
“FUN FACT: Government of China is a crypto whale.
Chinese authorities seized 194k BTC, 833k ETH, and others from the PlusToken scam in 2019. They forfeited these $6 billion-worth assets to the national treasury.”
