Mockup of Disney intro theme using Only BBC So Core. I recently discovered BBC SO, but I've actually owned it for years but for some reason, I went down the Cinematic studio rabbit hole instead. As I just started to work with BBC, I'm in awe of it's wonderful realistic and emotional tone, as I think this mockup shows. Usually short mockups like this take a couple of days to get right, but this actually only took an afternoon since I got the sound I was looking for almost immediately with BBC SO. Not much layering or tweeking to talk about.

I think the "out of the box" sound is really good, though I've ran it through my template using some compression for the brass and percussion, EQ on all separate sections and three different sends of reverb from cinematic rooms. I also use some mastering tools on the output track:
