Joyce Randolph, who portrayed Trixie'The Honeymooners,' has passed away at the age of 99

Joyce Randolph, renowned for her portrayal of Trixie Norton on "The Honeymooners," has passed away.

According to her son, Joyce peacefully departed this world on Saturday at her residence in New York City, succumbing to the natural course of aging while sleeping. Struggling with mobility issues, she had been under hospice care in the period leading up to her passing.

In the iconic TV series, Joyce played the on-screen spouse of Ed Norton, portrayed by Art Carney. The characters, close friends and neighbors of Ralph Kramden and his wife Alice, contributed to the timeless charm of the show. Ralph, a bus driver, would express frustration towards Alice with the famous line, "To the moon, Alice," accompanied by clenched fists—a phrase that would certainly be deemed inappropriate for television in today's standards.
