A scenic bike ride along the Seawall in the Coal Harbour neighbourhood in Vancouver, BC (July 2022). Highlights include a separated two-way bike lane, walking paths, wayfinding, seating, art installations, waterfront scenery and a connection to Stanley Park.

We begin by riding on the Seawall next to the Vancouver Convention Centre. This section of the pathway also includes two bicycle rental shops (EzeeRiders Bike and Electric Scooter rentals, as well as Club16 Bike Rentals). As we continue along the Vancouver Seawall and pass Harbour Air, we see examples of bike and walking paths that are shaded by tree canopy. We also see sections of the Seawall with fully separated lanes for biking and walking using benches, planters, trees and concrete curbs. There are also many locations along the way where you can find a seat to take in the views.

As part of the City of Vancouver's AAA cycling network the Seawall in Coal Harbour provides safe connections to protected bike lanes, bicycle boulevards and Stanley Park. For trip planning purposes you can use the Vancouver Bike Route Planner (in the links below).
