The controversy that arose from the release of the film The Goat Life does not end. Saudi Arabia is angry that the film shows a self-made and fabricated story. The story is from 1993 when an Indian young man, Najeeb Muhammad, goes to Saudi Arabia in search of employment. There his sponsor puts him to herd in the desert. For five years, Najeeb lives a hard life. Finally, one day he gets a chance and kills his sponsor. The case goes on and he is sentenced to death. But after hearing his story, the judge took pity and ordered him to pay one hundred and seventy thousand riyals. The word reached the Saudi people, they used to fundraise and collect money, but the heirs of the sponsor forgave Najib and also gave him 170,000 riyals.
