I Thought I Was Enlightened

I light a candle and cleanse the room,
I talk to crystals, I read the moon.
Set my intentions nice and clear,
Whisper to the universe, “I’m ready, dear.”
I sage my house, I conquor my doubt,
I cut toxic ties, I’m figuring it out.
I say“I’m healed” with confidence and grace,
Then I spill my coffee on my sacred space.

I meditate to find my zen.
I trust the process, I trust the divine,
I say “Everything’s working out just fine."
Then my phone dies mid-conversation,
Guess I better do some more affirmations.
