After Union Grove, we met up with Alex in Peshtigo at the 20V by the Community Center. The weather around the area wasn't looking great leading up to the test, but we called the county and they said they were still going to test. Despite that, we were beginning to think that they were going to cancel at the last minute, because less than 30 minutes before the test, a huge hailstorm went right through Peshtigo, absolutely hammering everything with penny-size hail. We even had to take shelter under the canopy of a nearby gas station, as we were worried that the hail would damage our vehicles and/or sirens (which didn't happen, thankfully). Around 3:45, the storm thankfully passed, and we went back to the 20V, although we weren't confident that they were going to test at that point. They were a few minutes late with testing, which made us even more convinced that they had cancelled, but thankfully, at about 4:03, this finally activated. They only tested for about 15 seconds, but that's certainly better than nothing, so I'm glad that it worked out. The lighting wasn't great with all the dark storm clouds in front of the sun, so I had to do some editing with my shots to make them look a little better, and I think they turned out decent. After this, we dropped off our sirens at SirenCon, and then went to our hotel for the night. Enjoy!
